"Serving The Telecommunications  Industry"

David Oren Creasman founded D. O. Creasman Electronics, Inc. in 1966 in the state of North Carolina. Prior to 1966 Mr. Creasman's business operations were conducted under the name of D. O. Creasman Company, Inc., offering cable-splicing services to the independent telephone industry.

Since 1962, D. O. Creasman has been training splicing, installation and trouble shooting skills under the name of Communications Cable School. As more and more people were trained and placed within the independent telephone industry, the demand for testing equipment also grew. This started the manufacturing and selling of tone generators, locators, amplifiers and leak detectors by the company.

In 1966 Mr. Creasman reorganized the companies and incorporated the Communications Cable School, Manufacturing and Repair, and all splicing operations into D. O. Creasman Electronics, Inc. The company continued to expand the services to include engineering, design and drafting.

In 1991, the company was purchased by a group of employees that have made the company into a "Turnkey Service Provider" for the telecommunications market, but has kept the company growth at maintainable levels so that quality of service to its clients is consistent.  Unlike many of its competitors, the company maintains a local presence for its clients so that it may better market, promote, and personalize services, while keeping a close watch and control on quality and safety issues.
Today, D. O. Creasman Electronics, Inc. is organized into four divisions that provide turnkey services Nation Wide:

Manufacturing and Repair Division

Outside Plant Division

Central Office Equipment Division

Communications Cable School
